At Pup’s Home Love, every Bichon puppy is backed by a strong and transparent health guarantee so you can welcome your new companion with total confidence. We ask that you take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of arrival for a complete health examination.
If your veterinarian finds that your puppy shows clinical signs of illness or has passed away due to a condition that was likely present before the pickup or delivery date, please contact us right away so we can assist you promptly.
We take extreme care to ensure all Bichon puppies leaving our home are healthy, lively, and free of contagious conditions. Our team remains committed to supporting you even after your puppy arrives. While no breeder can promise a lifetime free of medical issues, we do guarantee that your puppy has been lovingly raised, responsibly bred, and properly cared for from day one.
We know that a beloved puppy cannot truly be replaced, but we stand firmly behind the health of every Bichon we raise.
If your puppy passes away within the first year of life due to a hereditary or congenital defect, or is diagnosed with a severe genetic disorder that significantly impacts their quality of life, we will gladly provide a replacement Bichon puppy of equal value at no cost.
A licensed veterinarian’s written report is required to verify the diagnosis or cause of death.
Your involvement is essential in maintaining your puppy’s long-term health. Please follow these important steps:
Send us a copy of your puppy’s initial veterinary examination within four business days of arrival.
Avoid giving any new vaccinations for the first 10 days, as your puppy already comes with age-appropriate immunizations.
Continue routine deworming, vaccinations, and wellness checkups until at least 16 weeks of age, or as recommended by your veterinarian.
Following these steps helps protect your puppy and ensures that your health guarantee remains valid.
While our guarantee is extensive, some matters fall outside its coverage:
Temperament, behavior, size, weight, coat color, markings, or breeding ability
Weight-related issues or problems caused by improper diet or overfeeding
Health concerns resulting from a lack of ongoing veterinary care or missed vaccinations
Any veterinary costs related to spaying, neutering, or undescended testicles
Before a Bichon puppy leaves for a new home, they undergo a complete physical exam performed by a licensed veterinarian. Our Health Evaluation Report includes:
Heart and respiratory assessment
Eyes, skin, and coat condition
Teeth, gums, and oral health
Muscles, joints, and overall structure
Ears, digestive system, and urogenital health
This exam is completed shortly before your puppy’s travel date to ensure accurate, updated health information.
To finalize the health guarantee process, your Bichon must also be examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of arriving at your home.
At Pup’s Home Love, the health, safety, and lifelong happiness of your Bichon puppy are at the heart of everything we do. We are here to guide you before adoption, throughout the transition, and long after your puppy becomes part of your family.
